Half Goddess

by Rissa Tahre (Age: 26)
copyright 08-13-2003

Age Rating: 10 +

Moonlight dances across my face,
Wind blows in my hair.
I wish that I could find a place,
But I belong neither here nor there.

Starlight dances in my eyes,
Nature all around me.
Everything lives, everything dies,
Everything but me.

I watch the world spin 'round and 'round,
I walk across the land,
I listen to each sweet, sweet sound,
I dance across the sands.

Moonlight dances on my face,
Wind blows through my hair.
I wish that I could find a place,
But I belong neither here nor there.

What i don't understand is that it says that your poem is a contest winner, but there is no star next to it like you have with other contest winners.

Little Starseed... I feel your pain. I adore the poem, you are very talented. But then again, I would expect no less from you. I wish to talk to you, about the poem. If you could.... maybe you could e-mail me if you ever get around to it?

And as you know, my name is Jet. Awesome poem.
