Deep Blue

I don't see the rain that falls around me
I don't feel the pain that hurts my body
But I hear your voice that haunts my memory
And it calls when night is confused with day

The grass on the lawn turned deep blue
And everything around me screams - you, you, you.
(Lead)
Halfway there is where I am
Lost in a maze outlined in pain
Day after darkness - after every day
Day after darkness - in love with you
(Lead)
There sits a picture I painted with a word
A picture on a dresser - by a mirror - framed in blue
The word's a reflection, faded with the days
And the image of you... is all that remains

The grass on the lawn had turned deep blue
And everything around me screams - you, you, you.
(Lead)
Halfway there is where I am
Lost in a maze outlined in pain
Day after darkness - after every day
Day after darkness - in love with you
(Lead)
I don't see the rain that falls around me
I don't feel the pain that hurts my body
But I hear your voice that haunts my memory
And it calls me when night is confused with day

The grass on the lawn has turned deep blue
And everything around me screams - you, you, you.
