Pitch Black

~ The Dilemma ~

Pitch the forest, black
Owl hoots, treetop snaps...
Mice hide in towering grass
Pitch the forest, black
~~~
Ferns line, this shallow path
Dampness floats where motion can't
Can I feel the draft?
Yes, pitch the forest, black!
