The pale gold sun

clouds of white silk,

clouds of dove grey,

a winter afternoon.

An angel in a cloud,

in attitude of western prayer

or eastern greeting, combines the two.

A winter afternoon,

evening comes so soon.

The clouds turn pink and lilac,

the sun blushes

to a blazing fire.
