A breath of smoke and ashes

Age Rating: 18 +

Face to face we stand, eyes locked, not touching.

Not even daring to speak, lest we break the spell

Cast between two souls

Who search for that which they have already found.

No physical communion exists between we two.

Yet, in the steady rhythm of mutual breathing,

There exists a harmony

Beyond the comprehension of mortal man.

Exhale, inhale. Exhale, inhale. Exhale, inhale.

Deep into the other the essence of each is drawn.

Two become one in breath.

Within the rhythm of life’s exchange, lies heat.

Time stands suspended and the sound of breathing alters.

Pupils dilate as longing grows and bodies seek

To ape the orgasm of  breath.

Till humanity falls in ashes in the conflagration of passion.

Then, face to face we lay – eyes locked, not touching

Not even daring to speak, lest we break the spell

Cast between two souls

Who rejoice in that which they have found.
