Smiling dimples tease me into laughter
As my heart breaks forth in love

Yesterday seems so long ago
Tomorrow seems so far away
Today is here and here is where I want to stay

I look into your eyes, sparkling with love unspoken
Deeply drawn into the kind soul hiding within
I never believed there would be a morning like this
As my heart bursts out surrounding us in love

Yesterday seems so long ago
Tomorrow seems so far away
Today is here and here is where I want to stay

Whispers spoken against my cheek
Kisses covering my sadness over
Tears fall down in silent rain

Thank you! I gave this poem as a gift, typed on fancy background and he couldn't speak. Just put it into his suitcase and stayed quiet for awhile. I simply smiled as I knew then, it really got to him. ~smiling~ And we are still together over a year later.
