Stoichiometry

Today’s lesson stoichiometry
Oh no, the students plead
You’ll get it, says the teacher
Logic’s all you need

Some approach excitedly
More with trepidation
Tell us why we study this
Who needs the aggravation

Just another awesome treat
The universe reveals
Analyze dimensions
Nature’s elemental meal

The word itself, magnificent
Its own excuse for learning
Sounds like acid on the tongue
Beakers breaking just for fun

Its value real, I guarantee
But listen to its poetry
Stoichi-ommi-ometry
The tintinnabulation of chemistry
