Gallery: Diamohn
These Daimons (sometimes called Diamohns) appear in almost every episode of Sailor Moon S. They are minions of the Death Busters, and they fight against the Sailor Senshi, though they are easily defeated. They are believed to somehow be derived from the Daimon Garumatou, who is of alien origin and took complete control of Professor Tomoe and created all the others. They are held in a dormant state within a test tube developed by Kaolinite. When needed, a Daimon egg is removed from the controlled environment and heated or injected with fluid, then placed in a heated beaker, which would cause the egg to increase in size within seconds. The eggs respond to verbal commands from the Witches 5 and are able to seek out people with pure hearts on command. It then finds an object which is somehow related to the human target, and latches on to the object, which becomes fused with the daimon egg and takes a somewhat humanoid form, thus becoming a Daimon. The daimon has various powers and abilities which stem from the inanimate object that it was fused with. The creatures are of average intelligence and instinctively know how to use their powers and speak fluently. When the daimon is destroyed, the object and Daimon egg separate, the egg cracking open to release its essence as a shadow.
